About us

A Supported Living Provider With Purpose

Kenwood Supported Living was founded in 2025 by experienced professionals with lived experience and a deep understanding of complex needs. We exist to provide safe, person-centred supported living for adults with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs. Every plan is tailored to the individual, and our team has experience supporting a range of additional or complex needs. Our approach puts a strong emphasis on independence, co-production, and care that reflects real lives.

Our story

How Kenwood Supported Living Began

Rooted in lived experience, professional care insight, and a commitment to independent living

Created to Fill a Critical Gap

Kenwood was founded in 2025 by Katie Louise Jenkinson to meet the growing need for high-quality supported living services for adults with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs. We also support people with additional or complex needs as required.

Led by Lived and Professional Experience

Katie brings both personal lived experience and frontline care leadership. This rare blend drives real-world understanding and compassionate support.

Built for Co-Production and Progression

Kenwood delivers flexible, co-produced pathways from crisis accommodation through to long-term independence, supporting people at every stage.

Commission-Ready from Day One

Designed with CQC frameworks, local authority partnerships, and governance standards in mind. Kenwood is built to deliver measurable outcomes.

Our values

What Guides Our Work at Kenwood

Our work is guided by the INSPIRE values. Seven principles that shape how we support people and how we show up for our community.

Innovative

We embrace new approaches to care, building modern, effective services around people’s evolving needs.

Nurturing

We provide a safe, supportive environment that helps people grow, rebuild confidence, and reach their full potential.

Strength-Based

We focus on what people can do, not just what they need. Strengths are the foundation for independence.

Prevention-Focused

We intervene early, reduce escalation, and work proactively to keep people safe and supported at home.

Integration

We collaborate with community partners, families, and professionals to provide joined-up, holistic care.

Reablement

We support people to regain skills, build resilience, and move toward greater independence at their own pace.

Equality

We value lived experience, embrace diversity, and deliver inclusive care rooted in dignity and respect for all.

Our mission

Empowering Lives, Every Day

Supporting adults with complex needs to live with dignity, independence, and purpose. We do this through personalised, safe, and progressive supported living.

Empowering Independence

We help people set meaningful goals, build daily living skills, and regain confidence at their own pace.

Delivering Safe, Regulated Care

Our team follows robust CQC-aligned systems to ensure every person receives high-quality, well-led support.

Working in True Partnership

We collaborate with local authorities, health teams, families, and the individual to co-design every support plan.

Reducing Crisis, Enabling Progression

From temporary accommodation to long-term stability, we provide structured pathways to independence.
